Come to Our Open Tryouts in May!
To our site visitors:
As you might imagine, we’re excited to get our Spring 2010 season started!
And, we’re always pleased to add new players to our roster. Do you know players who are looking for a great, competitive soccer program on the peninsula? Do these players want to work with coaches who focus on skill development and imparting a deep understanding of the world’s best sport?
Well, look no further! The Gryphons Soccer Club’s 99G (U11) program is looking for motivated, committed soccer players who are willing to learn/develop in our 99G Black team program. Here are the details:
- To be eligible, girls must be born between August 1, 1999 and July 31, 2000
- Open tryouts will be held:
- Tuesday, May 11, 2010; from 6:00p.m. – 8:00p.m. @ Hillsdale High School soccer/football turf field
- Friday, May 14, 2010; from 4:00p.m. – 6:00p.m. @ Laurie Meadows Park, 111 Laurie Meadows Drive in San Mateo
The Gryphons Soccer Club emphasizes individual player development, creativity and an understanding of basic game tactics and strategy. This is accomplished through the long term approach our club takes to developing players by placing each player with a team that matches her skill level. Our club understands that each player develops at a different pace and we look to meet the needs of all our players by providing training, support and exposure to various levels of competition.
For more information about our tryouts and program as a whole, please contact age group coordinator Ricardo Marta Jr. @ 650-922-3886 and check out our website. We’re looking forward to seeing you!
Best,
Coach Ric
